The River Course at the Alisal presents golfers with breathtaking panoramas of the brilliant hues of the foothills and the Santa Ynez Mountains and Valley. The Course features four lakes and often follows the meandering path of the Santa Ynez River.
Immaculate Grounds
Gentle mounds define the manicured fairways and bentgrass greens accented by mature live oaks, native sycamores and elderberry trees, creating a “must play” golf experience for all.
Tournament Format
The Santa Barbara Celebrity Classic is a Team event using a Shamble Format. All golfers will tee off and then the group will select the best tee shot. Everyone will hit their own ball into the hole from the selected tee shot. The team will select the 2 best scores of the five some for their team score on each hole. All celebrities will play their own ball into the hole, including their drives. Each team must use everyone’s drive at least once during the round.
